SS8 VILLAVICIOSA 1/VIAJES EL CORTE INGLÉS

The 52nd edition of the Rally Princesa de Asturias is becoming a master class by the Asturian driver Jonathan Pérez who, after another stage win, continues setting the fastest times of the European class in all the sections. His latest win has been on Villaviciosa 1 at 14.73 kilometres in length. Behind him was Esteban Vallín who is threatening the third position in the General Classification currently held by Victor Senra. Vallín has been second in the first two timed stages of the day and he is already fourth in the classification, 3:37:70 minutes behind Jonathan Perez, a little more than a minute from Francisco Cima and now 10 seconds off Senra.

The Villaviciosa 1 stage has gone to Fuster in the National class, as he continues to alternate fastest times with Ares as has already happened on Friday. Fuster stopped the clock at 9:33:70 minutes and in the General Classification he leads Ares by 13:40 seconds. The fans are really enjoying this tight duel between the two drivers, who are continue to battle over tenths of a second.

The first loop of the day will be completed with the Colunga-Piloña stage, longest of the program, with a total of 29.980 kilometres. After the stage a regrouping at El Roxu will take place at 12:58.
